Milestone goals are funding checkpoints that will help keep you motivated and give you something to work towards. They’re also a great way to get potential patrons excited about becoming a patron!

While goals are totally optional, we recommend setting up a few. To get started, think about what sorts of things you would do or buy after hitting certain monetary milestones. Maybe there’s a piece of equipment you’ve been eager to buy or a creation you will only have time to make once you’re bringing in a certain monthly amount.

One thing to keep in mind while creating goals is that since Patreon is recurring funding for creators, goals will only be met when you have reached your target amount per month or per creation (depending on how you’ve set up your page).
